What is your dress code?
The cabaret dress code is usually fancier than in other venues. Feel free to have a bit of fun and dress to impress. Generally, elegant casual wear is required. Jackets and ties are recommended for men. Shorts, Bermuda shorts, flip-flops, sportswear, and trainers are forbidden.
Can I bring the children to the dinner show?
Children are allowed to our shows from the age of six if they are dressed properly and accompanied by an adult. That doesn’t mean, however, that the environment and the show are appropriate for children. Being a cabaret, the show features dancers who show a lot of skin.
May I cancel my ticket after I purchase it?
You may cancel your tickets 72 hours before the show and have a full refund. No refunds can be granted for cancellations beyond 72 hours. Matild Cabaret keeps the right to cancel the shows at any time with a full refund on the tickets.
Do you allow pets?
Unfortunately, we do not allow pets to Matild Cabaret.
Do you have a standing area?
We restrict our capacity to seated guests only.
Are the dinner shows accessible to English speakers?
Our shows feature a collection of English and Hungarian songs together with dance acts, let yourself be entertained with the universal language of music!
What do I do when I get to the venue?
We invite you to arrive at least 20 minutes before the beginning of the show and present your booking confirmation at the entrance. Our English-speaking staff members will guide you to your seats.
How long does the show last?
The show lasts two hours with 20 minutes break.
Is the show for travelers or Hungarian guests?
Both! The Matild Cabaret has been running shows since the late 60s and is appreciated by local and international audiences alike.
Can you dine during the show?
Yes. Your tickets include a 3-course meal. We invite you to check the website for the menu options. The ticket includes a glass of champagne as a welcome drink, and the beverages are served a-la-carte.
Are the dinner menus available in advance?
Each show date at the Matild Cabaret offers the option of dining, it was in this very venue that the concept of dinner and a show began! There are various menu options available. We invite you to check the website for the menu options.
Can I take photos of the show?
You may take the photos to remember your night out and our guests are permitted to take photos during the duration of the show. We kindly ask you to respect the comfort of the entertainers on stage and the privacy of other guests while taking photos.
Is there a coat check?
We provide coat hangers nearby your table. If you wish to secure your coat, you may leave your coats and large bags to be stored in the cloakroom during the show.
